Be Prepared

It is very important that you call us a few days ahead of time, if at all possible, to get pre-registered. At that time, we will gather insurance information and go through screening questions. You may follow your normal routine, and take any medications as usual, unless otherwise instructed by your physician.

Please dress comfortably with clothes that have no metal in them.

If you are having a CT Scan of the Abdomen and Pelvis and need Oral contrast then you are not permitted to eat any solid food for 4-6 hrs prior to the scan time as this interferes with the quality of the study.

If you are having any study using IV (intravenous contrast), including Cardiac CT, you need to have your blood work drawn within the last 45 days to check Kidney Function prior to the scan. We are able to do this at our facility but will need you to come in at least half hour earlier than the scan time to allow for testing.
